Who we are

In 2022, a group of South Asian women came together to begin vital conversations around sexual violence and social barriers within their communities.
Those early discussions inspired the development of this research initiative, which has since evolved into a collaborative, community-informed project titled:

“Sexual and Reproductive Health of Women and LGBTQ+ International Students from India.”

Supported by the Michael Smith Health Research BC – Convening & Collaborating (C2) Grant, our project brings together academics, practitioners, and community advocates to explore the challenges faced by racialized and international students navigating sexual and reproductive health services in BC.
